Scott and Lil go check out the bike, and he manages to creep even himself out.

Scott pulled the car he'd borrowed into a small driveway next to the garage. He'd brought Lil into town so that she could see the bike. It wasn't quite done yet, to be honest, but it was really close. It was mostly just finishes that were left. He flashed her a quick smile as he threw the car into park. "Ready to see why I keep coming home covered in grease?"

"I ain't ever complained about you coming back covered in grease," Lil replied with a smirk and a lean closer to him to press a quick kiss on his cheek. "But I am so ready to see what you've done on the bike."

No, she had not ever complained when he came back covered in grease. One of the many great things about her. Scott grinned, and slid out of the car, shutting the door behind him before he came around to take her in. He offered Lil his hand, "You'll be the first one to see her."

"Ooh!" she cooed with excitement, stepping out of the car. She didn't need his help but it was damn sweet of him even if it was a little old fashioned. Lil slipped an arm over his shoulder and waited for him to lead on. "You totally finished with it, then? We gonna need a bottle of champagne to christen it like they do with ships?"

"Not completely done," he admitted, slipping an arm around her waist and heading into the garage. "But really close. I'll probably finish her in the next week or two, and then....well..."

Scott felt his neck heat up, but continued, "I'd really like to, y'know...take you out....on her. I mean, if you want to."

Lil's face lit like a child's on Christmas. "You think I am gonna turn that down and you're crazy. Of course I wanna go out on the bike!" she said with a bubble of laughter. "Are you kidding me, Scott? God! Yes yes yes."

He couldn't help but grin at her reaction. He wasn't going to lie, it was exactly what he'd been hoping for. Scott couldn't even pretend not to have noticed her interest in the bike, and he had some pretty good intuition that a date that involved going out on it would basically be the best date ever.

"Well, if you're not really sure...." He teased.

She responded by poking him in the side. "Very funny, Summers."

He kept his shit eating grin as he guided her inside. Scott shut the door behind them before flicking on the light. "There she is."

"Oh... wow!" Her eyes went wide as they took in the site in front of her. Sleek lines. A little beat up but it was a repair job... and therefore beautiful. Even more so because Scott had been the one to build her.

"It looks great," Lil told him with another dazzling grin and a tight squeeze of a hug.

Scott felt his neck heat up again at her praise, but he was definitely thrilled by it. Especially since, well, he'd worked pretty hard on this. And yeah, he'd loved it, but still. He was glad that she liked it. Really glad. He pressed a kiss to her cheek before unwrapping his arm from her waist.

"Go on. Try 'er out."

"Can I? Really?" She was practically purring, vibrating with excitement as she gave him a quick kiss on the cheek and bounced over to the motorcycle where she wasted no time before climbing on.

"God, this is hot," Lil moaned, hands on the handle bars and feet still resting on the ground. "Like, seriously hot."

Scott nodded stupidly. Oh, it was hot alright. Not just her voice, though it'd slid over him like hot wax, but the image of her straddling that bike? Yeah, that was definitely fucking hot. He took a mental picture. Several of them.

He was going to remember this image for fucking ever.

He swallowed before asking, "I take it you approve, then, Crawley?"

"Fuck, yeah!" she answered enthusiastically. Looking up at him, the giantess was beaming with joy. "I mean, I'll be jealous if you start spending more time with her than me but yeah. This is fucking amazing, Scott."

He chuckled, and made his way over to stand facing her from the other side of the handle bars. "I'm intrigued by this jealous streak." Scott stroked a hand slowly over the not-quite polished metal. "Tell me more."

"About the bike?" Lil asked with a slight lift of her eyebrows though the smile never faded. "You know you're asking for trouble, right?" Rather than giving him time to answer, she continued immediately. "Not as much trouble as you'd be in if you start riding your new girl more than me, though." Hazel eyes flashed impishly and Lil leaned in a little closer to Scott. "I'd maybe have to do something drastic to keep you away from the bike if that happens. Maybe invest in a pair of handcuffs or something..."

Scott's eyes went wide and he swallowed, unable to move away as she drew closer. He was not going to picture her handcuffing him to a bed and...nope. Not thinking about it. Just not.

"Told you," he managed to say with a slight smirk, "I'm intrigued. You're just unfolding like a flower."

"Call me 'Lilly' even once and I am going to beat you up and steal your bike," came the mock threat complete with hand releasing the handle bar and coming up to grab the front of his short to draw him closer.

His body flashed hot, but Scott refused to let it show. Instead he let his smirk grow into a wicked smile. "Promise?

"Try me, Summers," she dared just before the tip of her tongue peeked playfully out between her teeth.

After a quick glance around to make sure no one else had come in, Scott leaned in closer. He paused a moment before biting her earlobe and murmuring teasingly, "C'mon Lilly. Keep unfolding. This is fun."

"I told you not to call me that," Lil growled playfully through her teeth at him. "You're really, really asking for trouble."

He grinned at her, completely unrepentant. "You don't want to be my Lilly?"

"I ain't anyone's delicate, little blossom, Shades," she replied. Keeping her hand twisted in his shirt, she dismounted the bike, came around and started backing him towards the nearest wall. "Is that what you want? A little blossom?"

Scott let her push him against the wall, and fuck this should be turning him on, and it was probably warped that it was. Still, though, this was pretty hot. "You're soft enough to be one. Lilly." He said, mild arousal enough to turn him honest.

Hazel eyes went hide. "Soft?" she growled, leaning into him, pinning him to the wall. "I ain't soft," she continued before a very devious smile pulled at her lips. "Seems like I ain't the only one," Lil said, voice dropping in both pitch and volume when her hips gave a slow roll against his.

His head lolled back against the wall. Jesus. "Soft," he managed to say. "Soft skin, voice like velvet....good heart.....soft."

The feigned anger disappeared, melting away into simple joy. Rather than reply verbally, Lil made better use of her mouth and kissed Scott without a trace of hesitation or shyness.

Scott wasn't sure, but this might have been the hottest kiss of his entire life. Though that might also be in part due to the fact he still had that amazing image of her straddling his bike. Man, so fucking hot. He kissed her back, happy enough to be trapped between her and the wall at the moment.

Fuck, if only he wasn't too afraid of being walked in on to....still, this had been a good idea. Breaking their kiss, he grinned. "Ever ridden one?"

"A bike? Once or twice but just back and forth to school with a friend." Old... well, not really boyfriend, but a guy she got in trouble with though Lil didn't really feel like going into details. "I'm gonna have a lot more fun on the back of yours, though."

"Wanna take her out?" Scott asked. The idea of going out on the road, on the bike, Lil wrapped around him....that would be amazing. He wanted to share that with her. It was the closest he could imagine to flying.

Hazel eyes sparked with excited. "Really? Now? I thought you said it wasn't finished yet."

He nodded. "Yeah, just need to put the exterior back on. I mean...it won't be finished for now but it'll hold up for this afternoon at least."

Scott wondered if his blood would ever fully return to his brain, and decided that the answer was 'no' for as long as Lil had him pressed up against the wall and her body. She was soft, maybe. Definitely not a problem he had, even now.

The excited smile remained on her lips even after she kissed him again, still keeping him pinned. "Well, then, yeah, I definitely want to go out... but you gonna be able to concentrate and keep us from crashing?" Lil chuckled, dragging her hips against him again. "'Cause, if there is a bathroom around here someone or a door that locks, I can help you settle down before we take that ride..."

"Oh, fuck..." He muttered. "Keep doing that, and I won't be able to concentrate on anything ever again."

Scott leaned in to kiss her for a long moment, another and another, and this was really not helping his little 'problem'. Breaking it off, he promised, "I'll be fine once I don't have my hot-as-hell girlfriend pinning me to a wall."

"Yeah, until we get on the bike and I got my arms around you and you can feel my tits against you back," she laughed again. Lil started to press little kisses along his jaw, working her way to that spot behind his ear as her hands ran down his sides and fingers hooked around the belt loops of his jeans. "My way's gonna be a lot more fun for you than just waiting, Scott. And the longer you fight, the longer it'll be until we get to go out on the bike."

He shivered. "You're dangerous, Lilly. And there's no locking doors in here. Waiting....oh, wow....waiting would probably be smarter."

Scott had no idea how his hands had found their way into Lil's back pockets, but keeping his hands on her ass probably wasn't helping him either, so he slid them out. "Let me take you around town a little bit, and then maybe I can take a rain check?"

"Funny, I think my way's much smarter 'cause then you ain't gonna be distracted when we're riding." Warm breath tickled over the places she'd kissed nipped. "Lemme help you now and then when we get back to the school, we can have more fun together. Besides," the roll happened again, "I'm pretty sure I can make this quick. Wanna go lean against the bike?"

"No locking doors," he reminded her, though he didn't stop her, either. "Lotta guys working in here. Don't really want one of them to walk in on....oh, Jesus, Lil....walk in on that."

Scott grasped her hips lightly, in a half-hearted attempt to still them. "No matter how much of a wet dream that would be. Holy fuck."

"No one's gonna walk in on us; I'll be fast," she promised, fingers traveling to start pulling the zipper of his jeans down. "Think of it as your penance for calling me Lilly."

He reached down to catch her hands. "Lil. Not here. They won't let me come here anymore if I....well, come here." He smirked slightly at his own word play, but was otherwise serious. Scott leaned in to kiss her slowly, wordlessly promise that he appreciated the offer and wasn't mad, before pulling back.

Lil sighed but nodded and let him off the wall. "I just don't want you breaking your neck - and your bike - 'cause you can't stop thinking with the head that ain't on the top of your shoulders." Nuzzling his jaw, she backed up, over to the bike and ran her hand along the seat before turning toward him again. "When we get back to the school, then?"

He smiled. "If you still want to."

Scott grabbed the exterior pieces he'd removed - everything he had left to do to them was cosmetic, for the most part - and brought them over to reattach them. "Not mad at me are you, Lilly?"

"Nope. No mad," she promised. Maybe a little disappointed because she did like making him feel good but Lil doubted that feeling when they got out on the road. "But I will be if you keep calling me Lilly," she added with a smirk.

He feigned innocence. "Why? I can't have a special name for you?"

One piece down, three more to go. "Lilly."

"You can have one for me. Just not that. My dad called me that when I was little and it's weird coming from you," she admitted with a small shrug, finally telling him the truth. "But I like that you want to call me special."

Scott made a face. "Yeah, okay, definitely don't want to call you that." He grabbed another piece and a wrench and went back to work. "I'm warped, but that's sick even for me. I'll have to think of something else."

"Good, 'cause my daddy issues don't go quite that far." She nudged him playfully with her foot as he worked. "You can even have time to think of the new name. Ain't gotta pick it now."

He smirked. "Oh, I've got a whole list of names for you, Crawley. Now it's just a question of picking one."

And Scott did, in fact, have such a mental list. Millions of descriptors for her, 99.9 percent of them good. He could go on for days calling her a different name each time. Probably, anyway. He used a thumb to trace a light line of grease across her ankle.

Two down, two to go.

She kicked at him playfully again, careful not to hurt him. "Just get the bike done. I wanna ride."

"Careful there, Diamond Girl. Don't want to dent it before I'm even done." He teased. Scott pulled over the third piece and went to work, efficient as possible in his motions. "Believe me, we'll ride. Which reminds me..."

He finished the reattaching the piece and went over to a shelf to pull of a helmet and toss it to her. "Here."

Lil caught the helmet, stared at it, then looked up at him with a quirked eyebrow. "Do I really need to wear this? I ain't gonna break myself."

Scott walked back over and picked up the fourth piece. "I'm sure it seems stupid, but...humor me, okay?"

He went to work reattaching this last bit, focusing his eyes on the bike so he wouldn't have to look at her like a sap as he explained, "I kinda like you a lot. I don't want to take chances with you."

"And I appreciate that, Scott, but you gotta remember that I ain't gonna break. I really ain't a little delicate flower." She knew he wasn't trying to be over-protective. "I kinda like you a lot, too, so I'm gonna give you a pass this time on the whole 'chances with you' thing."

"Doesn't mean I need to test your unbreakability out for myself," he pointed out. Scott wrenched the last bit into place. "And why would I need a pass?"

"'Cause I can take care of myself," came the answered as she fidgeted with the helmet. "You can like me and all, because I like you, too, but I don't ever wanna get to a point where I feel like you're worrying too much about me." Or smothering. Being treated like she was some weak female was not something she thought he would do but Lil wanted to make sure that got nipped in the bud just in case the temptation was there to do it.

"I'm not going to not worry about you." He finished fiddling with the bike, and sat back on his haunches to look at her. "Sorry if you don't like it, but...not exactly something I can help."

"You can worry about me," she said, meeting his eyes. "But you can't go overboard with it, okay?" Things were changing and well, having him freaking out about her safety was not going to happen.

"A helmet's not exactly overboard," Scott said calmly, rising. He went back over to the shelf to grab his leather jacket, which he brought back and offered to her. "This isn't either. For the record.

Lil blinked at him owlishly and had to remind herself to breathe. "That... that's for me?"

"It's mine. It's well...." Scott paused as he weighed whether ruining the surprise would be better than not. If he told her, he could get her opinion, and it was a sort of big purchase. "It's to tide you over when you're on the bike 'til I get you yours."

The sound Lil made was perhaps the girliest that Scott had ever heard come out of her mouth - a mix between a screech and a squeal and very high pitched - as she flung herself into his arms. "Really?!"

He only just managed to catch her, arms wrapping around her waist automatically as her warm curves molded to his body. Damn, would she ever not feel this good?

"Yeah, really."

Lil took his face between her hands and pressed a hard kiss to his lips. "You." She kissed him again. "Are." Another. "Amazing." And once more, though this time it lingered.

He had no idea what he'd done, but it must've been very, very right. He leaned into her kiss, body not yet entirely done with its response from earlier "So it's a good idea, then."

"Very," she agreed, beaming. "And I meant that. You're amazing. And so sweet and thoughtful and I have no fucking clue what I did to have you in my life."

He felt warm and proud so many things, because she just looked so fucking happy, and he'd done that. Somehow. Somehow Scott Summers, of all people, had managed to not only avoid fucking something up, but had actually made it good.

"You...didn't have to do anything. You're just...you. And I like you."

"I meant like the karma me," she laughed. "I know what the me me did." The smile was wicked again before she leaned in for another kiss.

He blushed lightly. "It was more than just that," he muttered. Scott shook his head to clear it, and then said, "Okay, Diamond Girl. Suit up, and we'll test her out."
