Jack disappeared for a day to go drink away the memories that go with his birthday. After Jean-Paul finds him and brings him home, Jack deals with the search party that is his roommate, and a very worried Curtis shows up and offers Jack a place to crash for the night.

After his debriefing chat with Jean-Paul about the disaster that was Jack's birthday, Pietro brings Jack breakfast. Jack does not appreciate--or believe in--his concern, but it all comes out better than it could've, at least.

Two of the rich kids hobnob at the party. It's less high-society gossip than eccentric sniping, but they seem to enjoy it.

Vance is cornered in the library by Shinobi, who is just dying to know what his deal is. But solving the mystery turns out to be not as interesting as the nosy rich boy had hoped.

Noriko and Shinobi catch up at Halloween. Shinobi, naturally, is an impertinent brat, but Noriko manages not to punch him TOO hard. Probably because she has no idea what's going on in his evil, evil brain.
