Lil and Cal, backdated to the wee hours of Friday morning

Lil and Cal run into each other at crazy o'clock, and she decides they ought to celebrate his birthday again.

Lil was still figuring out her after-work schedule but one thing, no matter how much she wanted to continue partying in the city, school nights meant getting her ass back to the mansion. There wasn't any question about it and given the few hours between her return and the start of her class, she had plenty of time to sober up.

Having parked her bike, she started up to her room to change out of the two piece, black with floral lace overlay outfit. A shower, food, and alone time in the gym sounded perfect. Then, when class was over, she could sleep until having to pull herself together for another shift at Evolution.

The sound of footsteps behind her caused the giantess to turn and seek out their source - surprised but not concerned to see Cal seemingly headed to the TA wing as well.

"What are you doing up?" she asked, hand on her hip and smirk pulling at the corner of her mouth. "Ain't ever anyone around when I'm coming in."

Cal only just managed not to do a double take at the sight of Lil, because, well, look at what she was wearing. He hadn't expected to run into anyone in the hallways, much less anyone looking quite this hot. "Hey," he greeted her with a smile. "I really should stop by the bar if that is the regular dress code. I was catching up on some work in the lab."

"Oh god, you're another one of those kinds, huh?" she laughed with a shake of her head. Her hair was twisted into a long single braid that hung down the center of her back and the makeup she wore could only be called 'smokey', dark around the eyes in blacks and grays to make the hazel color pop while her lips were a shade of vibrant red to complete the look he - and many customers that night - seemed to appreciate. "I had to drag Bri out of there forcibly at least once a month. You definitely need to get your ass to the bar and give your brain a night off." One hand on a hip that was popped to the side, Lil waited on the steps, smiling down at him as he drew closer.

"It was way easier when Jamie was around," Cal answered with a small shrug, hands in the pockets of his jeans. "I used to be a workaholic and relax at the same time." Maybe he should give Lu's mutation another try, but he didn't completely trust one of his selves not to fuck up in one huge way or another.

"So now you're just a boring night owl?" she teased. "Doesn't sound worth it to me, doing whatever you're doing and being all lame. You should be using that stamina for something much more fun."

"Who says I don't?" Cal replied with a smirk, joining her in the stairs. Not as much as he wished, but he wasn't going to pressure Angie. Not being an asshole worked for him.

"It's Thirsty Thursday and you were in the lab." Still smiling, she began climbing the step again. He really was cute... And tall. Not as tall as her but he definitely had some height to him. "And didn't you just have a birthday? Fuck, Cal! No."

Lil shook her head as she wrapped a hand around his wrist and began to pull him determinedly toward the door of her room. "You didn't go to the bar so I'm bringing the bar to you."

Cal laughed, but went along. "I wasn't in the lab on my birthday, at least?"

"I guess that means there is hope for you yet." She dragged him along, which was not precisely hard given he'd be going in the same direction anyway and her room was right next door to his.

A key was produced, fished out of her top somewhere and Lil ushered him inside. Her space wasn't the neatest but instead, looked lived in with the clothes on the floor and the unmade bed.

"Whiskey, scotch, vodka...?" Lil asked as she kicked off her heels.

"Whatever you're having?" Cal offered, looking around her room curiously. He really wasn't picky when it came to booze.

The most noticeable feature was the massive bed that was definitely not standard issue in the school. Covered in dark green sheets, if given a closer look, one could easily see where the headboard and frame had been reinforced.

"Vodka, then," the giantess declared, slapping her keys, money, and ID down next to an old record player, before pulling out a bottle from the bottom of her closet. "Grab a seat," she added, gesturing to the bed as she snatched up two glasses, collected from the desk that was cluttered with records, old bottles, and a closed laptop.

Cal had a look at the sort of records lying on the desk, then took a seat on the bed, casually leaning his elbows on his thighs. "So how was your shift?"

One shoulder lifted and fell causally. "Fine. College crowd mostly - like it always is on Thursdays. Not great tippers but they buy a lot of shots." The tumblers were filled three-four of the way, and Lil wasted no time in handing one over. "Happy Birthday."

"Thanks," Cal told her with a smile, and tipped his glass against hers before taking a drink. "Now I get to vote, but not drink legally."

"Can in Canada," she pointed out and flopped next to him, taking a large sip. Still had hours to sober up, still okay. "And as I am Canadian, I declare this room and part of Canada so drink all the fuck you want."

"Really? I thought it was 19," Cal stated with a quick frown. "Whatever. Thank you, Canada," he added with a smirk, and drank to that.

"Depends where in Canada but yeah, fuck that." Another sip and her bare legs curled closer to his. "So you're running your late night shifts off someone else's powers?"

"Paul's," Cal confirmed with a nod. "Sun Paul, not Wings Paul. He doesn't need to sleep. Or eat. It's the next best thing now Jamie's gone."

"Damn," she murmured appreciatively. "That is some stamina." Her knee bumped against his as Lil shifted, cradling the glass between her legs while pulling the elastic band from her waist-length hair and beginning to undo the braid.

"Well hey, he is dating Midnighter," Cal remarked with a half smile. You'd need the stamina with a guy like that, he figured.

She snorted after another sip. "If it's one thing bricks are good for it's a fantastic fuck." Being one herself and given her former roommate, Lil was confident in making that statement.

"I'll just have to trust your word on that," Cal answered, shrugging slightly, then smirked. "That and the enthusiastic banging coming from their room."

"Be thankful you didn't live next door when Bri was still here," she chuckled, the noise deep and heady in the back of her throat. The curtain of hair fell down around her shoulders, loose and free before Lil took another long sip, draining most of her drink.

"How's he doing, anyway? Are you guys still in touch?" Cal asked before taking another drink. It wasn't as if he risked getting drunk quickly on Paul's mutation, anyway.

Realization struck on how many times she'd mentioned Brian and her expression darkened slightly - something she remedied by filling her glass again and offered the bottle to him. "He's fine, I guess. We don't talk a lot, especially now that term's hitting a heavy load for him."

"Sorry," Cal accepted the bottle and topped up his glass. "I'm great at putting my foot in it, I guess."

"S'fine. Just..." Annoying. Awkward. Painful. Angering. It sucked, remembering what they had - and what she lost. Lil shrugged again, taking a quick shot. "Just sucks. But I keep moving on, right? Ain't any good getting stuck on something that ain't gonna change."

"Agreed." He filled up her glass again, then put the bottle down on the floor between their feet.

Lil nodded her thanks then scooted across the mattress toward the headboard, stretching out along the bed next to him. "So, can you mimic more than one power at a time or you just able to do one?"

"No, I can go up to five," Cal stated, folding a leg so he could turn towards her (and ignore how hot she looked, okay). "Right now I can also teleport and tell if you're lying."

She laughed, nudging him with her knee once again. "Wanna 'nother?" Lil asked and extended a hand. "Gotta warn you though, there are some sucky parts."

"Which parts?" She must be the only member of the team he hadn't mimicked yet in training, so he might as well get started now.

"I can't feel things. You know, like hot and cold, hard and soft. Nonea that means anything to me." Lil took his hand again, let him feel the warmer-than-usual temperature, the smoothness of her skin. "No stubbed toes or splinters, sure, but makes enjoying things like hugs and kissing and sex a bit more of a challenge."

"Huh. I bet," Cal agreed, frowning as he thought it over. His own hand was warmer than usual on account of Paul's mutation, but he was used to other people feeling colder, so he noticed her elevated temp as well. He pursed his lips, then simply mimicked her, frowning deeper as the sensations dimmed, and he stared at their hands. "Huh. Wow, talk about having to be careful all the fucking time."

"Mmhmm. Can't feel and the bonus of super strength behind it." Though, her strength was more a side-effect than an actual ability. Shifting closer, she brought his hand towards her lips, twisting so the inside of his wrist was exposed and blew a long, slow stream of air cross it. "Nothing. No soft kittens. No feeling someone whispering in your ear. No rain on your skin. And take a drink - your sense of taste is now shot to hell, too."

Cal took his hand back and did as he was told. "Shit. That's fucking terrible."

On her knees now, directly next in front of him, she smiled. "It makes for some fun party tricks. Can eat all the crazy, disgusting, or super hot stuff and not taste any of it. Same with cheap liquor."

"Yeah, but..." But she couldn't drop her mutation like he could, so he should just shut the hell up. He shook his head. "It's pretty awesome that you're not all woe-is-me about it."

"Lived with being touch-blind my whole life, Cal. Can't miss something I never really had." Did she wish it was different? Sometimes, yes. But wishing never changed anything. "My bioaura kept me from dying when I took a bullet to the chest so if that's the price..." Lil shrugged then parted the keyhole cut in the front of her top further to better show off the flawless skin. "See? Not a scratch or a scar and it was point blank."

"When you look at it like that," Cal stated, and looked up into her face, "I'm really glad you're - touch-blind." It didn't make it any less awesome that she would view things like this, though, if you asked him.

"Me, too," Lil chuckled again. One more sip to drain her glass, she set it aside and focused more intently on him. "There's some other... interesting parts to it all. I can still feel pain and pressure and pleasure if there's enough stimulation. Sensitive parts are still proportionally sensitive and well, I don't have a gag reflex," she added with another smirk.

Cal chuckled at that last bit, shaking his head. "Well, I can safely say that's one part of your mutation that isn't gonna be much use to me." And he was not thinking about her lips wrapped around - anything, nope.

The laugh was more of a purr, throaty and rich. "I wasn't exaggerating before about Bricks being fantastic fucks. Even beyond the stamina part, which, yeah, is pretty great. Like with me? I like sex. Really like it but I need a man who ain't afraid to get a rough. Who knows I ain't gonna break. Bricks are great for that. Speedsters, too. Still, even without powers like that, guys can be free with me. Can let down their guard and inhibitions and just go." Her tongue ran over her bottom lip, slow and steady, eyes never leaving his.

Okay, was he imagining things, or...? He forced his eyes back up to hers. "Are you hitting on me?" If she wasn't, he'd just feel stupid, who cared.

"If you have to ask, I must not be doing a good job." This time when Lil moved, it was to straddle his bent leg; one hand curling around the back of his neck. "Couplea hours and you won't have to take my word for anything," she hummed before pressing her mouth against him, hot and hard.

Cal's hands came up to hold her shoulders and push her back. "Whoa, whoa! I have a girlfriend."

Lil blinked owlishly as she frowned, sitting back on her heels. "I ain't asking you to date me, Cal, or even buy me dinner. It's just a couple hours of sex, no strings attached," she answered casually. "It's been a long time since I've gotten fucked good and promise you'll get off more times then you ever thought you could."

"And if I was single, that would sound totally appealing," Cal assured her. Okay, it sounded appealing regardless - especially since it wasn't like he was getting laid, added the asshole part of his brain. "But I have a girlfriend, and I don't wanna be an asshole."

Lil waited another beat before sliding out of his lap and grabbing the bottle from the floor as she stood. "Your loss," she murmured, lips wrapping around the top for one more long sip then handing it back to him. "If you're exclusive, I get it. I ain't a bitch like some of the other girls here."

"I'm so glad I don't actually know who you're talking about," Cal stated as he stood up as well, and shook his head to turn down the vodka, picking up his glass from the floor to set it on the desk. "Thanks for the drink. I'm probably gonna go drop Paul's mutation and try and get some sleep."

Or go jerk off. Waaay more likely right now.

Lil was already walking away, shedding her top and bottom to reveal only a slinky, black thong underneath as she headed toward her bathroom door. She needed to shower and hit the gym - and pray she sobered up in time for class. The sting of his rejection was helping that along quickly, however.

"Happy Birthday, Cal," she mumbled, disappear into the other room. "You know where to find me if you ever want the fuck of your life."

Jerking off had just become a certainty. Cal blinked, then let himself out, squashing any thought of joining her in the shower, all the more firmly that her parting shot made her sound like the bitch she claimed not to be. That didn't make her any less hot, though, and he was only human. Jerking off in his room it was.
